1-External rust prevention
Clean the three-wheeled motorcycle first, dry it or dry it in the sun. After washing the exposed moving parts, adjusting bolts, bearings, etc., it should also be coated with engine oil or butter to prevent rust.
2-Fuel tank cleaning
Discharge the gasoline from the fuel tank and store it in a sealed container. Otherwise, the "light components" in gasoline will be reduced due to long-term storage (evaporate into the atmosphere), causing the tricycle to start difficult or unable to start. At the same time, the gasoline in the carburetor should be drained to prevent impurities in the gasoline from blocking the measuring holes, oil passages and other parts of the carburetor.
3-Exhaust pipe maintenance
Remove the exhaust pipe from the car, add a small amount of oil from the front end of the exhaust pipe, install the exhaust pipe, and then start the engine to evenly distribute the oil on the inner wall of the exhaust pipe to prevent rust.
4-Spark plug maintenance
Remove the spark plug, fill the cylinder with about 20ml of special motorcycle oil from the spark plug port, install the spark plug, turn off the ignition lock switch (OFF position), step on the start lever 5-6 times to make the oil evenly distributed in the cylinder wall. If there is no foot-started tricycle, you can remove the spark plug cap, turn on the ignition lock switch (ON position), and press the start button for 2-3 seconds.
5-Parking environment requirements
Park the tricycle in a dry and ventilated place, and pay attention to moisture to avoid rust. Three-wheeled motorcycles should not be parked in the open for a long time, otherwise it will accelerate the aging of the three-wheeled motorcycle's appearance and become old prematurely.
6-The engine idling for 5 minutes a month
It is best for users with conditions to start the engine for 5 minutes without load every month. After the engine is parked for a long period of time (more than one month), the oil film on the surface of the original parts will flow to the lower end of the engine under the action of gravity, and the surface of the parts will lack the oil film and directly contact the air to produce oxidation, which will reduce the lubrication effect. Due to the lack of lubrication between the cylinder and the piston, dry friction or semi-dry friction is formed, which accelerates the wear of parts and greatly reduces the service life of the engine.
7-Tire often shifts
The weight of a motorcycle is borne by the part where the tire touches the ground. If it is parked for a long time, the part where the tire touches the ground will be compressed and deformed. The longer the time, the more difficult it is to recover the deformed part, which brings hidden dangers to driving safety. Therefore, when the vehicle is stored for a long time, it is recommended that you often adjust the position of the tires touching the ground.
8-The battery is charged once every 2 months
Remove the battery from the car and clean it up, and place it in a dry place out of the reach of children after it is fully charged. It is advisable to charge it every two months.
